About ME

My track career didn't start off so well.  As a 5th grader I went out to win my first warm up, injured myself, and was unable to practice or compete in the first few meets of my first season.  Over the years I've had coaches that taught me how to properly train, be prepared for the season, and be ready for competition.   A special thank you goes out to Tina Lount-Pretre, Lara Salamacha and Dain Cilley of the Woodside Wildebeests.  Without their guidance I wouldn't be the runner I am today.  Thank you Lara and Dain for keeping our pod going during 2020!  Also, thank you to all of the girls I spent many hours with out on the trails and at the track.  Especially Juila Salamacha for always putting in that extra time with me on our trail runs.  I'll never forget those days.

I look forward to learning more and being challenged by my high school coaches at Bishop Kelly.  In a short time they've taught me what it takes to transition from a middle school runner to a high school runner.  I'm very excited to see the improvements I can make over the next few years under their guidance.
